Although the Boone March for Our Lives was postponed/cancelled due to snow, around 30-40 people marched anyway in solidarity with the young people in DC.

Blowing Rock Per-Sisters: Our purpose is to provide on-going support for the successful implementation of the progressive agenda put forth by N.C. Governor Roy Cooper. As well, we will continue to resist policies, both old and new, that are detrimental to our shared values at the national, state, and local level. This group was formed in 2017. We intend to partner and network with other groups that share our values. When appropriate, we may provide links or updates on action alerts related to our purpose on this site.
