*State Sen. Ralph Hise voted for SB 58, an attempt to limit what the NC Attorney General can do on behalf of North Carolinians. Blowing Rock Persisters are grateful for AG Jeff Jackson's success in stopping data breaches, releasing health research funds, and defending our constitutional rights, and we are disappointed in Hise's vote on this issue. Hise for supporting this bill, which if it becomes law strips away much needed protections from the people of this state.
