Reminder of Watauga Indivisible guidelines for public rallies:

The purpose of our Indivisible Watauga Code of Conduct is to ensure that all feel welcome to participate in our community. It covers our behavior in any public meeting, online forum, mailing list, website, or private correspondence. By becoming a member of INDIVISIBLE Watauga you agree to:
1. Be Nice, Kind and Courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. We will treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness and courtesy is the necessary antidote to hate and intolerance.
2. No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed. No offensive comments related to gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion; no sexual images in public spaces, real or implied violence, intimidation, oppression, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, or unwelcome sexual attention will be tolerated.
3. Members Agree to Non-Violent Behavior
We are committed to peaceful and non-violent behavior. We request that members respect all relevant laws as they exercise their right to assemble, speak out, and petition their leaders for change. We will work to facilitate the safety of everyone involved. By joining, you agree that you will not use physical or verbal violence or aggression towards any person or group. You will not destroy or damage property.
4. Members Adhere to Indivisible Watauga Ideals
INDIVISIBLE Watauga is a volunteer grassroots organization formed to defend democracy and strengthen community by upholding the values of inclusion, diversity, acceptance, personal freedoms, and a healthy environment. We are not affiliated with any political party, and we welcome all who recognize the values listed above as American values and understand the need to protect them. We advocate for progressive policies through local action and coordination with allied groups. Engaging with our elected representatives is a fundamental  element of our active engagement in our representative democracy.
